Service was prompt and always someone at reception. They are the place's best asset and were extremely accommodating, friendly and sound out. I was coming in late (12.00) so it was good to have someone there to meet and explain. Whilst Saturday night had a good few people staying and bar was busy, it wasn't noisy. Beds are typical hostel size (but it is a hostel, not the Hilton!) but were clean and had own separate light, plugs and locker. The bathrooms and showers were clean and latter available at all times. Great location off the Luas tram stop and a few 100 meters from Heuston Train Station. A short walk too from the City Centre and a lot of other facilities (Museum, Guinness Brewery, Phoenix Park, Stoneybatter). Ideally, this hostel is more suitable to groups of young backpackers, but I was grateful for it as needed in short notice. It does what it says on the tin and it does it well.

The Staff were very friendly and very nice. The bathrooms within the Hostel were very clean and tidy! The dorm that I stayed in was also very clean with nice clean bed sheets and a good mattress! The Hostel had a really cool bar area downstairs on the ground floor with really cool lights. Really cool vibes in there. The Hostel also has a food menu with nice options on it. The Hostel also has a vending machine near to the reception desk which I think is a nice idea. I'd definitely give this Hostel a go if you are planning to stay somewhere nice in Dublin that's not too expensive. It's also less than a minutes walk from the luas line and a bus stop! I'll be back again for sure.

We arrived super early, but because we had a private room, it was ready for us. Yay! Even if it hadn't been ready, the property offers luggage storage. There were lots of breakfast places nearby for us to grab a quick meal. Overall, the location is excellent, close to shopping, the river, the Temple Bar area, and restaurants. Aside from price, the main reason for selecting this property was its' proximity to the Jameson experience, which was our main reason for spending a night in Dublin. The shower had great water pressure. The linens were comfortable.

They have set rules in place to ensure a decent and respectful stay with regards to common areas being for socialising, and the dorms to be respectfully for quiet and sleep (as we all have different schedules). The common area is large, welcoming, and helps engage in socialisation, but if you prefer to be away from people, there are areas for that as well. Karaoke, seeming every night invites guests from all over the world to sing their hearts out, and the outside area seems recently gentrified (less riff raff than you'd have elsewhere).

Felt really safe. There was security at the entrance and you need to use your keycard in the elevator. The bunkbed was clean and spacious. Windows were able to be opened so there was always fresh air. Staff was friendly enough. They apparently gave me an upgrade to accommodate my request to have a lower bunk, which is very nice. The price was definitely top-notch for what I got!
